What is LightStim LED light therapy?

Just like plants, our skin and other body tissues have the ability to absorb light and convert it into energy. LightStim LED light therapy delivers light energy in a similar way plants absorb light energy from the sun. It emits painless, UV-free, therapeutic light energy to the skin.

Lightstim is the only US manufacturer of LED equipment and has been leading the way in light therapy since 2001.  Our professional panels utilize 5600 of the most carefully designed LED’s on the market.

Is red light therapy worth it?

Red light therapy (RLT) aims to solve skin issues by using low wavelength red light. Many
experts believe that it can help with issues such as skin conditions, scarring, and signs of aging
including wrinkles and age spots. There is long standing evidence to back up many of these
claims.

How does it work?

LED stands for Light Emitting Diode. Diodes are semiconductors that convert electrical energy into light energy. This light energy is then absorbed via light-absorbing molecules in the body called chromophores.

LED therapy utilizes different wavelengths, or colors, of light in order to trigger a variety of natural intracellular reactions in the skin. When this beneficial light is applied directly to the skin it can reduce fine lines and wrinkles, temporarily increase blood circulation, treat mild to moderate acne, and much more!

Just like plants, our skin and other body tissues have the ability to absorb light and convert it to energy.

LightStim Light Therapy delivers light energy in a similar way that plants absorb light energy from the sun. Emits UV-free, beneficial light rays that energize cells and stimulate the body’s natural process to build new proteins and regenerate cells.

There are different colors of LED light available. Each offers a unique benefit for the skin. Here’s a breakdown of how each works:

  • Blue light: kills acne bacteria and treats breakouts.
  • Red light: reduces inflammation, promotes healing and stimulates collagen synthesis, promotes an even skin tone.
  • Infrared light: similar to red light, but is invisible to the human eye and penetrates deeper into the dermis.
  • Amber light: builds new collagen and elastin.

How long does it take for LightStim red light therapy to work?

It takes about 2 to 3 months to see significant results in red light therapy so though who are patient and do not forget to do your treatments will see the results.

Can you overuse LightStim?

Clients can have LightStim therapy sessions twice a day if desired. It is advised to
continue with the same treatment schedule until you have achieved the desired results. …
The treatments are very gentle and will not harm your skin at all.

How many minutes should I use red light therapy?

Consistent exposure to red light therapy can reduce symptoms and promote skin health. Start with 20-30 minute sessions with the light approximately 1” to 3” inch’s from face. Continue this program two to three times per week for two to four months, followed by a maintenance program for best results.

Does LightStim tighten skin?

TIGHTEN SKIN · IMPROVE CIRCULATION · REDUCE INFLAMMATION

LightStim Multi-Wave® Patented technology simultaneously emits multiple wavelengths (colors) of light, allowing for more that one target objective per treatment

Can I use LightStim on neck?

LightStim can be used anywhere on the face, neck, chest, hands, arms, back legs and is approved by the FDA for the treatment of periorbital wrinkles (think crow’s feet)

Does LightStim Treat Fine Lines & Wrinkles

LightStim for Wrinkles provides rejuvenating wavelengths of light energy, which can be absorbed by the skin helping to create more volume. Over time this increased volume plumps up the dermis layer, gradually helping to push out lines and wrinkles.

Does red light therapy help hair growth?

Low-level laser therapy — also referred to as red light therapy and cold laser therapy — irradiates photons into scalp tissues. These photons are absorbed by weak cells to encourage hair growth. It’s widely accepted that the procedure is safe, tolerable, and less invasive than hair transplant surgery.

Is LightStim red light therapy safe for eyes?

Red light therapy is a safe, natural way to protect your vision and heal your eyes from damage and strain, as shown in numerous peer-reviewed clinical studies.
